GIAN is a grassroots technology business incubator supported by Gujarat Government, SRISTI and NIF for supporting / commercialization of grassroots innovations by linking them with investment and enterprise. Job Profile:
1. General Manager (Value Addition): At least degree in mechanical / agriculture engineering or allied fields and a minimum 5-7 years experience in product development for mechanical and agricultural innovations.
Emoluments: Consolidated 15,000/- to 20,000/- per month

Job Profile : Coordination and management of all activities relating to value addition, research & development, to undertake prior art search, designing and product development, product standardization, to extend help to innovators for refinements of ides/prototype development and standardizations, technological and market benchmarking of innovations, Research and value addition with the help of various stake holders, internal and external agencies through formal engineering inputs, mobilizing resources by submitting proposal to various funding organizations, coordination with local and national level technical institutes / engineering colleges, IIT's etc. To extend technological support to the CIM and GM (BD) in projects, to mange in-house workshops and mobilize outside workshop support for making prototypes, testing/validation through reputed agencies etc. To prepare technological write-ups, engineering drawings for filing patents etc, to monitors the prototype development / production at innovators end being undertaken with the help of GIAN. To extend support to CIM for project management, report righting etc.
